How Does It Work?

STEP 2 - Email us at email@example.com or directly to your investigator.
STEP 3 - We will call you to confirm that we are starting the background. Most reports are completed in just 2-5 days.
*an invoice will be emailed to you for payment (net 15 terms)
Q: How many days will it take to complete a Background Profile?
A: Most backgrounds will be completed in about 2-5 working days. Just let us know if you have a deadline. If your assignment requires more time, we can provide you with a partial report.
Q: How do I pay?
A: We will email you an invoice for $195, including instructions to pay by credit card or mail a check payment within 10 days.
Q: Do you have volume discounts?
A: Yes. After your 10th Background Profile, you will receive our special volume rate going forward. Just call us for details.
Q: What is the guarantee?
A: If you are not completely satisfied, PHENIX will either rework the assignment or refund your fee.
Q: How complete and accurate is the information in my report?
A: Information is derived from over 100 databases and public sources. All information is reviewed by a licensed investigator to the extent that it can be verified. Our investigators also perform further due diligence using various methods.
Q: Do I have to tell the applicant or employee that we are doing a background on them?
A: Yes. If you plan to use the information in the background report for employment decisions, the EEOC and FTC require that you get written consent. Have your applicant or employee sign our Employee Consent To Background (PDF).
